A Reflection on Early Work

These early works lay the foundation as well as an exploration of the relationship between nature, technology, and human identity. “EVOLVE” on the left encapsulates the tension between organic life and mechanized forms, a hallmark of my initial phase. Lush natural landscapes clash with vibrant, artificial elements, symbolizing the duality and conflict between the natural world and the encroaching impact of technology. In contrast, the intricate “MAD WORLD” series on the right reflects a more structural, yet equally symbolic exploration of industrialization. Cityscapes, radiating from a central point, with machinery penetrating its organic form, suggests tension with human-made environments infiltrate the natural order. Both series emphasize the struggle between these opposing forces, a recurring theme that would continue to evolve in the my later works, becoming more complex and nuanced with time. As part of the archives, these select works provide a glimpse into my early conceptual interests, offering insight into the evolving narrative that remains at the core of my work: the delicate balance and often blurred boundaries between the organic and the artificial.

Special Note: Transition from Drawing to Painting

This series of black-and-white drawings marks a pivotal moment in my early career. Due to challenges with my eyesight, the meticulous detail required for this style of work became increasingly difficult to pursue. As a result, I had to make the difficult decision to shift focus from these intricate, industrial-themed drawings to a new medium—vibrant oil paintings. This transition allowed me to continue exploring themes of nature, technology, and transformation in a way that suited evolving physical abilities while maintaining the depth and complexity of the original vision.
