One Studio. One Continuity.
Welcome to my studio. This website brings together more than thirty years of work across painting, drawing, digital media, and print, while providing access to current artworks, selected commissions, editions, writing, and public speaking.
Who is Kenneth Burris
I am a contemporary artist whose work examines the relationship between human infrastructure, natural systems, technology, time, and cultural change. My practice combines painting, drawing, digital development, 3D modeling, and research. I use these methods together to develop images, structures, and symbolic environments. I also write and speak about contemporary art, artificial intelligence, blockchain, authorship, provenance, and the changing conditions of artistic practice. Studio History
Kenneth Burris Studio is centered on an independent contemporary practice encompassing original artworks, limited-edition pigment prints, selected commissions, writing, and public speaking. Burrisโs professional background spans more than thirty years. He began his career in 1994 producing hand-painted commercial imagery at architectural scale, then spent eighteen years working within commercial fine art studios in roles involving painting, art direction, collaborative production, quality control, and studio management. This experience developed the technical discipline, material knowledge, and visual planning that continue to support his work today. That history remains part of the studioโs foundation, but it does not define its current direction. The studio now serves as the professional home for Burrisโs artwork, research, writing, and public practice.
