Large-Scale Art documents Kenneth Burris Studio’s extensive history of site-responsive painting, murals, and architectural-scale commissions. Developed across commercial, public, and private environments, these works were conceived in direct relationship to their surroundings, with composition, color, material, sightlines, and scale determined by the conditions of each site.

The archive reflects more than three decades of experience translating drawings and visual concepts into complex physical environments, combining artistic direction with the technical demands of fabrication, installation, and durable painted surfaces.

While large-scale production is no longer the central focus of the studio, this body of work remains an important part of its history and working knowledge. Selected commissions at architectural scale continue to be considered when they are appropriate to the studio’s current practice.
