Kenneth Burris Studio
— Art Direction & Governance
Mission Statement
Kenneth Burris Studio produces original fine art and large-scale, site-specific works for private collectors, institutions, and architectural partners. Built on three decades of large-scale production and fine art practice, every project is approached with the same artistic discipline, material integrity, and conceptual rigor — regardless of scale. Commissions are accepted selectively. Each work is overseen directly by Kenneth Burris and built to last in both material and meaning.
Who is Kenneth Burris
Contemporary Painter & Studio Director
Kenneth Burris is a contemporary artist and director whose practice examines the intersection of human infrastructure and natural systems within the “Post-Globalist” landscape. With a career spanning over 30 years, Burris has developed a unique methodology that merges traditional oil painting with advanced digital workflows, 3D modeling, and high-level creative governance.
The Heritage of Scale
Burris’s foundation is rooted in large-scale production and long-term studio leadership. Early in his career (1994–2000), he executed photorealistic advertisements at architectural scale, with works reaching up to 30 x 300 feet. He subsequently spent 18 years directing within commercial fine art studios, managing high-volume, high-precision environments that demanded rigorous material control and exacting execution. This background establishes a deep discipline that informs the studio’s current output in painting, murals, and environmental art direction.

Directorial Oversight
Every project — from a private canvas to a large-scale installation — is overseen personally by Kenneth Burris. Decades of senior studio leadership ensure clarity of execution, material control, and consistent standards across all work.
Architectural Logic & Visual Planning
Large-scale works are developed through measured composition, spatial studies, and digital planning when required. This preparation ensures accurate scale, strong visual structure, and a seamless transition from concept to final painted surface.
Environmental & Site-Specific Works
The studio realizes murals and architectural-scale paintings that integrate seamlessly into physical space. Each project is approached as a complete environment — balancing aesthetic presence, structural integrity, and long-term durability.
